TRAVEL

The wedding weekend events will take place in Inverness and Point Reyes Station in West Marin, which is a 1.5-2 hour drive north of San Francisco.  

The closest airports to fly into are SF (SFO) or Oakland (OAK). 

There is limited public transportation out to West Marin so those flying in will need to rent a car for the weekend. Please let us know if there are any issues here and we will find a solution. 

Note: the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival is taking place this weekend in Golden Gate Park, as a result, there may be traffic and road closures around the park, on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Plan accordingly.

FRIDAY’S WELCOME EVENT All guests will need to drive themselves or carpool with a designated driver to Friday’s event out at Drake’s Beach. Please be safe — no drinking and driving!

If you would like to arrange for your own private transport on Friday, you can contact Pure Luxury.


THE WEDDING We will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding at Black Mountain Ranch. Depending on where you are staying, you will either be picked up at your accommodation location or you will meet at a shuttle meeting point nearby. 

There is also parking available at the venue if you would prefer to drive yourselves! 

SHUTTLE SCHEDULEShuttle pick-up will be around 3PM on Saturday, some pick-ups are a bit earlier!

Shuttles will be available to take you home any time you desire between 8-10pm. From 10 on we will have shuttles leaving on the hour: 10pm, 11pm, midnight, and 1am (last shuttle)

*Friday night is a loose cocktail attire dress code, we just want everyone to dress up!! we will be on the sand, you will (perhaps) partake in a game of beach baseball, and it will get chilly when the sun goes down, so plan to dress accordingly. Wear or bring appropriate footwear (being barefoot in the sand while it’s warm enough is encouraged) and plenty of warmth for when it cools down,  including socks :) we will share a moodboard for more direction closer to the date!

Mira Winsor Brock was born in San Francisco, California. She spent her childhood living in SF and Inverness, California. As a kid, she and her family would travel to many parts of the world, including India, Cuba & Mexico. She can salsa dance, speak Spanish, and beat most people in a race up the stairs to a 4th floor walkup. Mira works in music.

Michael Prestia Kushner, often times referred to as “Kush”, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He spent his childhood in the town of Washington, PA, where he played baseball basketball and football. He eats Sweetgreen most days, plays the piano sometimes, likes movies and doesn’t care for Oxford commas. Kush works in advertising & entertainment.

Mira & Kush live in Brooklyn, New York in a neighborhood called Clinton Hill. They have a feisty but cuddly pittbull named Mountain that they adopted in Los Angeles, when Mira & Kush first moved in together in 2020. Mountain is food motivated and will not bite your hand off even though he will charge you if you show up at the apartment. You just have to give him a closed fist when you see him and maybe a treat or two.
